Account information — name, email address, and authentication credentials provided when you create an account via Clerk.
Payment information — billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles all payment data directly.
Debate content — the stock tickers, markets, language preferences, and debate text and audio you generate.
Usage data — pages visited, features used, timestamps, and credit consumption history.
Technical data — IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
To process payments and manage your credit balance.
To generate debate content — your stock ticker and preferences are sent to AI model providers to produce the debate text and audio.
To send transactional communications (purchase confirmations, credit alerts).
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties to operate the Service:

Clerk — authentication and user account management. Receives your email address and account credentials. Subject to Clerk's Privacy Policy.

Stripe — payment processing. Receives billing information. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

AI model providers — debate content generation. Stock tickers, market selection, and language preferences are sent to AI providers to generate debate text and voices. Debate content is not used to train external models under our agreements with these providers.

Cloudflare — audio file storage (R2) and CDN/infrastructure. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and debate data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. Generated audio files are stored indefinitely and do not expire. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 5). Some data may be retained for longer periods as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

Access — request a copy of your personal data.
Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal data (right to erasure under GDPR).
Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.
Opt-out — opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (session tokens managed by Clerk) and a maintenance bypass cookie if applicable. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, encrypted data storage, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
